hey yall how are all of yall doing i hope its good . sorry we havent been updating yall lately weve been busy but thats no exuse we do need to stay in touch with our family and all of us and yall know that. well its been good here i suppose at least it hasnt been boring its been busy with me going to camp and then right when i get back nana went to Virgina and shes been working and papa has church calling and kks been over then we had the 4th of july here and the missionarys came and that was cool and soon were going to utah soon and that rocks but my point is weve been busy the last 2 and a half weeks but we will try to keep up with yall .

I was sitting here typing out an update......left to pick Whitney up before I finished.....come home and you had posted! AAAAWWWW.

We are done with out SHAKESPEARE play. It was so good, but so much work. All of the kids really pulled through and took a lot of pride in it. My camera wasn't working and I don't think anyone got a picture of Collin. Poor guy! I have some pictures I need to post a link too. You can also look on facebook.

We had some beautiful weather here, but now it has started getting cloudy and cool. Rain is heading this way for a few days. Collin and Craig have been spending time together working in the yard and fixing things. Collin is loving it. Whitney will be 15 next month...............I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!! She is a great girl though, I am really proud of her.

We will be heading to to Lake City for the family reunion and Easter. Not sure if Craig will go or not, but I am looking forward to being there. Can't wait to see Fishy and everyone for Tyler's Graduation.

I love you all anyway! I'm looking forward to going to Florida for Tyler's graduation. Next week is our spring break but of course I don't get time off for it. Blaire and her new beau are going to Florida to surprise her granny for her 80th birthday. I wish me and Brooke could go too. Brooke and Ethan came and spent Sunday night with us. They headed to Vegas for a couple of days. Not much else going on around here.

It's been a sad couple of days for me. Mom left on Sunday night to go home. Blaire took her down to Las Vegas and they spent the night, her flight left at 8:00 a.m.. I enjoyed her visit so much. We didn't do much, just enjoyed each others company. We went up to Logan and spent the weekend with Brooke, Ethan and Chevy. We went to Hardware Ranch (a winter refuge for Elk) we rode the sleigh wagon and got some great pictures. I can't believe it didn't snow any the whole time mama was here. I wanted her to see how awesome it was when the snow comes down. But...the day she left.....what do we get? A snowstorm! All day and today too. Go figure! I'm posting our pictures, I hope you like them. I love you all. Fishy

I finally found time to blog! I actually made it through the first week back to work....barely!! I'm exhausted and so are the kids. I'm looking forward to a restful weekend. Brooke will be visitng with us tomorrow so hopefully we can have some fun. I will try to post some Christmas pictures soon.

Okay, so I'm a slacker! I'll try to do better in 2009.

Christmas is over, the new year has begun. As I look back over the holidays I'd like to share an experienced we had.

This year we decided to do the 12 days of Christmas for someone that needed
cheering up. We picked a lady from my office who is 70 years old, divorced, 2 grown sons who live in other states and her mother lives with her.. No family here or even close by...no church family and really no close friends. I felt really bad when I heard that they would be spending the holidays alone. So we decided to leave a little gift and note for them for 12 days leading up to Christmas. The kids loved it! I think the best part was them sneaking up to the house (in the dark), leaving the gift, ringing the doorbell and running!

The recipients were elated. They went around asking everyone in their neighborhood if they knew who was leaving the packages. Some of the neighbors even started sitting on their porches waiting for us to come each night. As best as I can tell no one spilled the beans.

As this lady was telling me about it at work last week she said that was the best Christmas they've had in a long time and they were going to miss getting their packages every night. She said they saved each note and the non-edible gifts to remind them that someone was thinking about them and cared.

I think that is my best 2008 Christmas memory and the kids would probably agree.

For 2009 we've started a Christmas jar. I wish you all one do this one with us. We've taken a quart jar and sat it on a shelf. As we get spare change we add it to the jar. The plan is that come December we'll have a full jar and then we're going to select someone in need to give our jar to. This is something that we could all do!

The kids go back to school Tuesday, Gary goes back to work Monday and things will start to get back to normal (whatever that is!).

I have been reading post and check it several times a day to see if anyone has posted! SO NA!!!!!!

Anyway, life is busy around here. Sarge is doing better, he is beginning to walk a little on his leg but still has to stay in the kennel and keep still. The cat is more friendly since he is outside (he comes in to sleep in the laundry room). I guess he appreciates us more now! LOL

We are ready for Christmas except that I am making more peanut butter balls and pretzel rods today.....................YUM! Our friends, Rob and Jennifer and their kids will come over after our church service tonight and we will have our tradition of Chicken Tortellini Soup, rolls and goodies, then exchange gifts and take goodies to the fire station. Tomorrow after we open presents here, we will head up to Sky Valley to stay one night with Craig's sister.

I love you all and hope you feel as blessed as I do! May God touch each of your loves in a special way this coming year!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.......

Can't believe Christmas will be here so soon! We have been so busy trying to get things done that I am already tired from it all. Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. I truly enjoyed being with my family and spending time with Mom and Dad. The kids had fun hanging out with their cousins. I cannot believe how big Hunter and Tyler have gotten! WOW!

Craig and I will be in Cincinnati next weekend and the kids will stay here with one of my friends (adult) daughter. the dog is doing pretty good, but now has a swollen spot where the pin is in his leg so we are off to the vet tomorrow to see what is going on. I hope it is OK. He has been so good through all of this, but still - it's another thing to take care of. He loves me though and thinks he has to lay his head in my lap and put his paw on my arm while I pet him.

Whitney is staying busy babysitting. Our Youth had the annual auction tonight and raised about $1600.00 Whit auctioned off babysitting and got a pie in the face..............two boys paid $28 to hit her and her friend..............it was middle school boys though. Collin is busy playing - that's all that is important to him right now. They both have music concerts next Friday.

Well, I am off to bed to try and get a good night sleep before another busy week hits.

We made it to and from Florida safely. Thank Goodness! I had such a wonderful time with all my family. It makes me miss everyone even more. Sosha and Xander had a lot of fun too. Xander didn't know how to act to have someone to play with all the time! Fishy's Night Out was a blast! All the food at Thanksgiving was yummy! Everyone there in good health is a blessing! We are a blessed family!

I can't believe we will be leaving for Florida tomorrow! I haven't even thought about packing! Xander and Sosha are so excited. Xander told me he was embarassed about going...I don't know what he meant by that! I'm dreading the red eye flight we are taking but as long as we get there safely I don't care. Please say a prayer for us. I can't wait to see all my sisters and all my little nieces and nephews! I've been saving up lots of hugs and kisses for them!

Well, it is cold here! We have had freezing temperatures the last few mornings and it is supposed to be colder as the week goes on. I like it though. Just enough of nip in the air to keep your toes cold and your nose red!

Not much going on around here except doing High school work with Whitney, which is kicking my butt! This is a tough year for us but we are adjusting. She is doing great with Sign Language and Keyboard and Collin is loving band. I have a new hobby.........I have been making cards and such and it is so much fun! Now, if I can just find enough time to myself to enjoy it.

Craig's job is going well.....he likes it and they are looking at benefits so hopefully it will all work out. god has been so gracious to us and has surrounded us with some mighty prayer warriors.

Can't wait to be in Lake City Saturday to spend the week with all of you and see FISHY!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting old....I've been up since 5:30....can you believe that...on a Saturday morning? Oh well, it gives me some time to catch up on some things. It's raining here this morning....sounds so good...I like it.

We're getting excited about seeing everyone for Thanksgiving. We're particularly excited about seeing Fishy, Sosha and Xander. Vince is excited about his party. I'm starting to get overwhelmed. Our calendar is so full from now through Christmas. I'm trying to take it one day, one event, at a time but sometimes my mind just starts racing thinking about everything I've got to do.

Not much to report on....just want you all to know I love you. Our family is truly blessed to have each other.

New Relationship!

Hi family! ha ha Everyone has been asking me on facebook about my new relationship.... well its a secret..... jk he is great his name is Joe Ellis, he is 23 and is from South Salt Lake from Magna, UT. He plays football at SUU. I'm meeting his fam for Thanksgiving.... NERVOUS!!! But it will be good! I love and miss all of you and hope everything is going well! I go in next weekish for another blood drawl to see if my medication is working....so will see!

Hi its jojo I had an upseting Halloween. First Nanny wouldnt let me dress up at first I didnt really care but then I saw Vince and KK having fun. Iwanted to cry because it wasnt fair and so I thought Halloween was supposed to be fun. Later on I felt better because Ah-E gave me a lot of candy. When I went home to a nice comfy bed and I felt fine and settled.

I made all A's and 1 B on my report card. I got put on punishment for a month for being mad because I couldn't stay at nanny's house.

Tomorrow is my last softball game. I went to the fair. It was fun. I got loads of candy on Halloween.

Halloween

We survived Halloween! Me, Courtney and Blaire took the kids trick or treating around the block, they got more than enough candy! The weather was perfect, people were out everywhere. Hunter and Emily went with Sosha and Xander. It didn't take long for the two boys to get tired. We went home ate pizza and lots of candy! Saturday night I was finally talked in to going to the Haunted Hospital!!! You all know me and know that the last thing that I want to do is go to a haunted anything! So between Courtney, Sosha, Xander and a few of my students, I went...I wanted to chicken out so bad, I was so scared! Xander led the way and wasn't scared at all! I pee'd my pants the first 5 seconds I was in there. One of our professors was working in it and had all the creatures call my name. Needless to say...I needed oxygen by the time I got out of there. This was the last year they were able to have the Haunted Hospital so I am really glad I did it. I am so proud of myself and the kids, they wanted to go again!!!!

It' Fall here and I am loving the cool mornings and nights. Some days have been too windy, but it feels so good! Collin was supposed to get baptized last week but woke up with a fever. I took him to the doctor on Monday; he has an upper respitory infection. He is feeling better now.

Whitney and her friends have a fun night planned for Halloween.............coming here to get dressed and have pizza, going Trick or Treating in several neighborhood, then spending the night at Hannah's house. Collin is going to be with a friend..............oh, I got stuck driving the girls around! UUGGHHH!!!!!!! Saturdayis our Fall Festival at church so we are looking forward to that.

This year we are having two productions with Drama Club. The first one in SHAKESPEARE! and will be Jan. 30, - the other is Midsummer Night's Dream - The Musical and will be in May. The kids are excited to learn what part they will ahve for the first play. It is more laid back and a bunch of little scenes about Shakespeare. Auditions for the second play will be in Dec.

Sister, thanks for taking the time to set up the blog for us.

Sounds like ya'll had a fun weekend! I wish there was more to do around here.

We had trunk-or-treat at the church Tuesday night and it was a lot of fun. Vince & KK's school will have their costume parade Friday morning and then we'll take the kids trick-or-treating Friday night.

I love all of the fall colors and the nip of coolness in the air. We've had record lows here this week. It was 31 degrees at my house Wednesday morning. We sure were not expecting that this soon. It'll warm up some next week. I'm not looking forward to the cold weather.

Fun Weekend

This past weekend we had a great time. We got up early Saturday morning and went to the Sheep Paarde, it was a lot of fun! It is an annual event that celebrates Cedar City's heritage, each year when they bring the sheep off the mountains for the winter they parade down mainstreet. After that we went to the Annual Pumpkin Festival, the kids had a blast! They got to pick out a pumpkin and decorate it, decorate sugar cookies, play games, etc. Later that afternoon they had their school's Halloween Carnival and they had fun there as well. Saturday night Sosha had a birthday party and me and Xander went to a scary movie in the music building. I worked all day on Sunday. We were all exhausted from the weekend but had a really good time.
